Some nano tech in action: NASAs Aerogel

Here is an article with photos about how NASA used a nanostructure called Aerogel to catch dust particles in a comet's tail (and more). Its really interesting to take a fact (like this gel is a nano-structure of silicone that is spongelike and contains over 99% air) and actually see it and see how it works...check it out. I'll post the photo of the stuff in the album, too.
